I’m Damiano, the founder of FairPrice Consulting.
I have a background in software pricing, vendor negotiations, and commercial analysis, and have worked closely with both software providers and enterprise customers. This has given me direct insight into how software pricing is set, how leverage shifts during renewals, and where inefficiencies tend to emerge.
I work directly with clients throughout each engagement, ensuring decisions are informed, practical, and grounded in market context rather than assumptions or pressure.

I started FairPrice Consulting after seeing the same pattern repeat itself across software renewals
Software pricing is rarely transparent. Vendors negotiate constantly, buyers do not, and renewals are often handled under time pressure with limited market context. Over time, pricing drifts — not because organisations are careless, but because the process is structurally tilted in the vendor’s favour.
FairPrice Consulting exists to correct that imbalance.
I work with organisations across Australia and New Zealand to review software spend, benchmark pricing against market reality, and support negotiations at critical renewal points. The objective is not indiscriminate cost cutting, but alignment — ensuring pricing, usage, and contract terms accurately reflect how software is actually used and what comparable organisations are paying.
My work typically spans three areas: SaaS spend audits, renewal leverage, and contract and pricing resets. In each case, the goal is the same — to bring clarity, discipline, and evidence into decisions that have long-term commercial impact.
Fair Price Consulting operates independently of software vendors. My role is to represent the buyer’s interests and provide clear, data-led advice when it matters most.
